Timex Reveals Atelier Marine M1a Watch

Timex Watch

========================

========================

Timex has been a timepiece manufacturer since 1854. Over the span of 170 years, the organization has consistently sought out what is innovative, pertinent, and forthcoming.

The Timex heritage is not founded on a single appearance or aesthetic. It is established on a continuous dedication to modernity, to designs that resonate with their era and occasionally precede it.

Autonomy, Excellence, Enduring Design

Timex Atelier represents the forthcoming chapter. It is not a departure from the brand’s history but a considered extension of its core principles: autonomy, excellence, and enduring design, alongside a commitment to value that has rendered Timex reliable for generations.

Where the Giorgio Galli series concluded, Timex Atelier now advances. The timepieces are crafted such that luxury, the Timex way, is found in the details that matter most; not to flaunt themselves but to withstand scrutiny.

"Every Timex Atelier timepiece commences with proportion, yet it is in the nuances where discovery resides.

"The more one examines each surface, each line, and each interplay between components, the deeper one begins to comprehend what has been meticulously arranged and what has been intentionally excluded.

"These pieces are not meant to dazzle at first glance. They are designed to be unveiled, gradually, over time. " - Giorgio Galli, Chief Creative Director, Timex Group

"Timex Atelier signifies a pivotal moment for Timex. It encapsulates over 170 years of horological craftsmanship into a refined design philosophy grounded in proportion and clarity.

"It is a declaration of our identity and how we advance, where luxury, the Timex way, is characterized by enduring design and details that merit attention. " - Tobias Reiss-Schmidt, President and CEO, Timex Group

The Initial Expression: Marine M1a

The inaugural timepiece, the Timex Atelier Marine M1a, embodies this philosophy. Its 41mm stainless-steel case showcases a skeletonized structure with a black IP-coated mid-case, screw-down crown, and 200M water resistance, all under a double-curved sapphire crystal treated with a triple-layer anti-reflective coating.

A unidirectional rotating bezel is equipped with a black ceramic insert, Swiss Luminova, and an elapsed time index. Beneath it, a polished black enamel dial unveils silver-applied indices and hands filled with Swiss Luminova for visibility at all hours.

Availability

Internally, the Swiss-made CATENA SA 100 automatic movement features 29 jewels, a 36-hour power reserve, and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour.

Two variants will be available: one with a stainless-steel bracelet featuring a custom deployant clasp and self-adjustable links, and another with a premium NBR rubber strap for a more technical appearance.
